I wrote this for my second year progress report from work completed in the Das Lab. This also serves as a more specific outline for a project I discussed in two talks (see my CV) A novel approach toward aptamer design .
How Neural Networks Work

I wrote this as I was learning about neural networks during my first year in my PhD program. Most of the content comes directly from the classic “Neural Networks and Deep Learning” textbook by Michael Nielsen and 3Blue1Brown’s videos.
